Curt : I'll school it good when I get home. It's probably up to no good, I imagine!
Neil D : Well maybe you should tell your desktop that its supposed to be off
Curt : As for Wrath, that blows. :S But hopefully we'll see you on there soon regardless.
Curt : I can't imagine how I could be logged into Skype, being that my desktop computer is completely off right now!
Neil D : Oh, looks as though i will only beable to pick up WotLK tomorrow... boooo...
Neil D : Curt, you left your skype on! that or your DMing right now! /gasp
Curt : A colleague of mine said I sound like Stewie from the Family Guy. I don't know whether to be amused or insulted.
Curt : I've changed it so the Gravatars only appear in comments, rather than posts. I thought it looked a little odd if one person made a bunch of posts in a row, and it played havok with the formatting for each post.
Curt : No worries. I was beginning to feel like I was blogging to myself, though, so any posts or comments from people who are not me are appreciated.
Joe : Thanks for keeping up the posting. With the lack of comments it might seem fruitful, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that your efforts are appreciated. I will have to go through my backlog and start posting.
Curt : Oh yeah, forgot to post this earlier: I beat Fable 2, yay!
Carl : I love the Backloggery
Curt : I've posted enough stuff that it's rolled over to the Older Entries, so make sure to check there to not miss anything.
Curt : Also, I'm adding some more categories where needed. I might see about going back and tagging some older posts that fit, but that might be a bit of an undertaking, being that there are over 300 posts now.
Curt : The site's been too quiet lately, so I'm going on a posting rampage. Enjoy!
Curt : Doing a bit of fiddling with the site, please don't pay attention to any breakages.
Neil D : Congrats!
Curt : Yay, I beat LittleBigPlanet!
Neil D : Yeah i am looking forward to seeing how it turns out, especially after the day i had at work. Rene's long lost cousin moved here from toronto last year and she is a photographer. She has her own business, met her this weekend and she is looking for an apprentice type. Has a few weddings already booked for the spring in Toronto, asked if i'd want to help out.
Curt : Oh wow, that's awesome!
Neil D : If all goes well i may have landed myself an apprenticeship for my photography. Would start at the end of winter/start of spring. Could be interesting!
Curt : Indeed. I'm looking forward to playing more and seeing what happens next.
Neil D : I sense that a truly epic D&D camapaign has begun!
John : I thought I noticed a improvement in smoothness while playing Fable 2. Load times and framerates seemed better.
Curt : Yeah, I'm loving it. I love how it runs even better now, and installing games to the HDD is awesome! It actually helped the framerate in Mass Effect and nearly fixed the menu lag in Fable 2!
John : Will do. Oh, and the new 360 update is pretty slick, I like it.
Curt : Yay! D&D tonight! I recommend everybody upgrade Skype if they get the chance. The very latest version apparently fixes call quality and reduces dropped calls.
Curt : The big Xbox update is today, for those with Xboxes. I haven't checked it out yet, but I've heard it's pretty slick.
Curt : Sweet. We will patiently await your arrival.
Neil D : i'll be picking up left 4 dead some time soon, won't have time to play t'ill december though.
Curt : Woot! If you get the PC version, we can play online together!
John : I played through the demo finally last night. Left 4 Dead is awesome. I'm so gonna buy it.
Curt : Yay! Left 4 Dead is out today!
Curt : Yay! My Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition arrived in the mail today!
Curt : Sounds good to me. I'll send out an invite, then.
Neil D : Ok, how about we just pencil in for Thursday then? Looks to be the only day Joe is not crazy busy this week. If i can get things rolling with my project then i can easily take Thursday off to play.
Curt : Thus far, I'm free every night except Monday night, as long as I've got enough early warning to set aside the time, that is.
Joe : I have a date on wednesday, friday I will more then likely be heading back to whitby. Work is going to be really busy Mon & Tues, I don't want to be a zombie for the first game but if we want to play then I will make the effort.
Neil D : So starting this week i need to start my class project. It will nearly dominate all my spare time for the next two weeks. So if we plan on playing during this time i need to know well in advance when people are free. i figure i can spare atleast one evening a week. So lets figure out what days the most people are free and i will take that day as a break from my project.
Curt : No worries, I figured it was pretty last minute so not many people would be around.
John : Crap, didn't see that post until this morning. Not that it would have made a difference, I didn't get home until 9 last night because Deb's dad has been in the hospital since Saturday and only just got released yesterday, so we were over there for supper.
Curt : I'm actually around tonight as well if people want to play. I'll aim to be on Skype around 8, just in case.
Neil D : So for D&D this week i am free tonight or tomorrow. This is the one week i am not free at all on the weekend. Next week i am good to go almost any day except Saturday the 22nd. i know Chris expressed interest in playing when i talked to him on Sunday. Would like to get the ball rolling.
John : As for Left 4 Dead, I downloaded the demo last night but didn't get to play it, spent all night on the phone with XBox Live support trying to find out where my Fable 2 code is. Final word, MS has stated there is a delay and that no ETA can be provided.
John : No D&D again this week, then?
Neil D : I can't wait to try Left 4 Dead, as for D&D, Saturday i have class and then we are going out for the evening for a belated birthday dinner for Angie with her friends.
Curt : I can see that if you don't intend to play Left 4 Dead online, then there's little incentive to purchase it. I was a bit leery at first as well, until I played it online the other night and now I'm much more certain about my purchase. The randomness that the Director adds is pretty amazing when you're playing on a higher difficulty with a group of players.
Joe : As for D&D, Thursday is no good cause we have the concert, Friday I have three things to do that I am already trying to juggle. If you guys want to try for Saturday or Sunday I would be up for it.
Joe : Left 4 Dead is great, but I might pass on purchasing it. Doesn't seem like the kind of game I see myself playing after a week of blowing up zombies. Suspenseful as hell though!
