John : Yay! And happy new year! (I know, I'm a few days late)
Curt : Yay, the site's back up! The server it's on was under a heavy DDoS attack yesterday.
Curt : Yep, happy new year, everyone!
Cliff : Yep, Happy New years guys, hope this year will be as good as the last.
Neil D : Happy New Year boys!, i would have put this up early but was not near a computer.
Curt : Yeah, I saw that. Really sucks. I'll see about making a post out of the news article I saw.
Neil D : There is a chance the release of the Watchmen may be delayed. We will find out january 20th. Seems there is a copyright issue between 20th century fox and warner bros. Apparently 20th century fox was trying to make it into a movie a few years ago but failed.
Curt : Merry Christmas as well!
Neil D : Merry Christmas boys. Putting this here now as i won't have the chance tomorrow. Wishing you guys all the best for you and yours tomorrow. Have a very merry and safe day.
Neil D : So Angie and i are officially not heading to TO this weekend, due to the past weather and the future weather. She also is not feeling well, came down with a chill last night, not its a full blown cold.
Curt : I need to learn to spell, apparently.
Curt : Just rememeber to reactivate WoW and to not buy it again.
Cliff : Congatulations Carl on the promotion.
Cliff : So guys I am again hooked up to the internet and will be available for stuff like roleplaying again. WoW to come shortly.
Curt : Grats!
Carl : So yeah, I have been promoted to Senior Helpdesk Analyst and now on the road to promotion to team lead early next year.
Curt : And yay, I'm working from home today cause of the snow causing traffic problems!
Curt : I think I said it last night, but grats!
Neil D : It's weird being an A student. Just got my grade for the semester. I need to do the paperwork for my first certificate now, woot!
Neil D : Well, i thouroughly enjoyed The Day the Earth Stood Still. It was pretty good, fairly faithful to the original, a la contemporary day.
Curt : I've upgraded Wordpress again. This one seems to be quite the major revision!
Curt : In other words: no worries. I hope we've got enough to play, this evening!
Curt : No excuse! You go get a generator, and you hook it up to your computer...
John : Looks like I won't be able to make it for D&D tonight, power's out at my place from the freezing rain we had.
Curt : FG2 will be running all day before the session.
Curt : I forgot to leave FG2 running at home and I won't be home until late tonight. I'll try to leave it running tomorrow so that it's up well before the session even starts.
Curt : I will be on WoW tonight and I will also have Fantasy Grounds 2 running so people can log in and enter their replacement characters for Mossmantle.
Neil D : I could only imagine!
Curt : I'll school it good when I get home. It's probably up to no good, I imagine!
Neil D : Well maybe you should tell your desktop that its supposed to be off
Curt : As for Wrath, that blows. :S But hopefully we'll see you on there soon regardless.
Curt : I can't imagine how I could be logged into Skype, being that my desktop computer is completely off right now!
Neil D : Oh, looks as though i will only beable to pick up WotLK tomorrow... boooo...
Neil D : Curt, you left your skype on! that or your DMing right now! /gasp
Curt : A colleague of mine said I sound like Stewie from the Family Guy. I don't know whether to be amused or insulted.
Curt : I've changed it so the Gravatars only appear in comments, rather than posts. I thought it looked a little odd if one person made a bunch of posts in a row, and it played havok with the formatting for each post.
Curt : No worries. I was beginning to feel like I was blogging to myself, though, so any posts or comments from people who are not me are appreciated.
Joe : Thanks for keeping up the posting. With the lack of comments it might seem fruitful, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that your efforts are appreciated. I will have to go through my backlog and start posting.
Curt : Oh yeah, forgot to post this earlier: I beat Fable 2, yay!
Carl : I love the Backloggery
Curt : I've posted enough stuff that it's rolled over to the Older Entries, so make sure to check there to not miss anything.
Curt : Also, I'm adding some more categories where needed. I might see about going back and tagging some older posts that fit, but that might be a bit of an undertaking, being that there are over 300 posts now.
Curt : The site's been too quiet lately, so I'm going on a posting rampage. Enjoy!
Curt : Doing a bit of fiddling with the site, please don't pay attention to any breakages.
Neil D : Congrats!
Curt : Yay, I beat LittleBigPlanet!
Neil D : Yeah i am looking forward to seeing how it turns out, especially after the day i had at work. Rene's long lost cousin moved here from toronto last year and she is a photographer. She has her own business, met her this weekend and she is looking for an apprentice type. Has a few weddings already booked for the spring in Toronto, asked if i'd want to help out.
Curt : Oh wow, that's awesome!
Neil D : If all goes well i may have landed myself an apprenticeship for my photography. Would start at the end of winter/start of spring. Could be interesting!
Curt : Indeed. I'm looking forward to playing more and seeing what happens next.
