Stumbling on new music by accident is always fun, so this week here’s The Joy Formidable, which I stumbled upon by complete accident.
This is just too cool. I just finished Castlevania: Lords of Shadow the other day, too.
As the weather steadily becomes more dreary, here’s a fun one this week from Givers. Enjoy!
And not just for a 3-episode special or anything. It’s filming a whole new season over the next few months! I can’t wait!
Read about it on Robert Llewelyn’s (Kryten’s) blog.
It’s Halloween! If there’s something strange, and it don’t look good, who are you gonna call? Hoobastank, apparently.
Some of Tim Curry’s best work.
Halloween is coming! Here’s Mr Zombie goofing around in the Munster Koach (sadly, not the actual Dragula).
The new WoW expansion is Mists of Pandaria because of course it is.
Here’s a fun one this week. Matt and Kim play music in all kinds of places that they probably shouldn’t. It’s like catchy guerrilla music! Not to be confused with gorilla music. That’s something else entirely.
We watched a fair bit of Game Center CX on the weekend, and if you have even a passing interest in video games and don’t mind subtitles too much, you HAVE to check it out. A number of the full episodes have been fan-subbed on YouTube.
Another Monday, another video. This time, it’s the Arkells, rocking as always.
I’ve posted Elbow before, but we’re seeing them at the Sound Academy this week and I couldn’t help but share another. Besides, the video and song are great.
Happy Monday, folks. Here’s a video from the Cinematic Orchestra. If the singer sounds familiar, it’s Patrick Watson. His stuff is great, and he’s from Hudson. Check him out as well if you like this.
It’s not a video, but I don’t care. We finished Battlestar Galactica last night, and we’ve had this version of the song stuck in our head ever since. Enjoy!
I’ve been busy, so I haven’t gotten around to posting any music videos yet this week. But better late than never, right?

I completely forgot to post a video last week. Busy, busy, busy. Also, exhausted. In any case, here’s a video!
It’s not a music video, per se, but I don’t care. It’s a cool song. Enjoy!
I had a great weekend and hope you did too. Here’s an energetic song by Locksley to start us off right this week.
Today is Tau day (6.28), so here’s what Tau sounds like. (Spoiler: pretty good).

As it turns out, The National are fans of Valve’s games. So much so that they wrote this song just for Portal 2. The song was hidden in the game as a little bit of an easter egg. Now, they’re holding a contest for people to make a music video for the song, and whoever wins will win a signed guitar. This is one of those entries, and in my opinion, the best.
Social Distortion’s latest music video is almost more of a movie than a music video, but it’s all awesome.
